I have been an Alcoholic for a good few years and have had problems with Drugs since the Age of 18. After spending some time in a treatment centre I was clean but unable to settle to the aftercare provided. After a few weeks I relapsed and felt so ashamed. A friend suggested that I contact you. When I first met you I instantly felt at ease and not judged at all.
I have now been clean and sober for 9 months and I can honestly say that I wouldn’t have got this far without your help and support. I know I still have a long way to go with my relationships and issues but I really feel that I am now on my way to recovery. Thank you for everything!

I first contacted you about 6 months ago as I had very severe relationship problems. At first I found it very hard to open up and talk about my past but you were very kind and gentle and encouraged me to go at my own pace. After a while the talking became easier and I now look forward to coming. You made me feel so comfortable and safe.
My relationships are now beginning to improve and I can now see that it is possible for me and my children to live as a normal family again. I’m not there yet but I know I could not have got this far on my own.

I have been coming to see you since January 2014. I’ve been an Alcoholic from a very young age. I always thought I was in control and never gave a thought to the consequences.
When I was 27 I lost my driving license and from there things just spiraled and I started to sell my possessions to feed my habit. I didn’t see that I was destroying myself and my family in the process.
Since coming to see you and admitting that I do have an addiction, you have been fantastic in helping me to see the consequences of my actions and the strain I have been putting my family under. With your help I’ve been able to cut down more and more. I feel much better and I am very grateful for the help. I’ve got further to go but I feel much better and I can start to get my life back on track.
